Aces on Bridge While complacency seeps in and each day slips by, marked only by peaks of good conversation and life-saving relationships, and I find myself using more, eating more, sleeping more than ever needed, I write- Note to self:

Live lightly. Tread the earth at a gentle speed. Eat, spend, and use like the supply is limited. Be affected by the closed ecosystem you exist in. Speak sparingly. Refuse to use words like an audible shield that protects your ignorance. Listen to everything, take in some, put out little. Understand the weight that exists in everything, including your very own life. Know that a tree falling, a bird dying, and a man's heart slowing are all the end of something and the start of something else. Be free to interperate without consideration of what side your answers falls. Dare to be proven right. Take no moment as something spent without value. Boredom, waiting, sleep, and dreaming are all forms of living. Go now. Go now and complete whatever poem is reading in your heart. Be the verbs in the novel and the silence in the songs. Move your plot of land and shape it into what only God could have imagined it to be. Create Magnificance. All that you enjoy today was at one point made that way.
